From the right end of the head board of a reclining couch (kline), the finial in the form of a protome of a Molossian hound, its head turned to its right, its mouth open, the tongue lolling, the short ears falling slightly forward and open to the sides, thick tufts of hair along its head, the fur incised along its neck, the lower end of the terminal with a medallion bust of Cupid in high relief, wings emerging from his shoulders, his hair pulled up in a top-knot, a garland around his neck, his head turned sharply to his left, the two elements joined by the thick frame
