The case with articulated serpentine handle emblematic of eternity above the concave-moulded top embellished with ribbon-tied foliage and beading, the sides mounted with rosettes, resting on toupie feet with strike/silent lever in the base, the white enamel dial signed Meuron & Compie within a gold wreath, Arabic chapters, ormolu hour and minute hands, blued-steel alarm hand, the movement with bridgecock verge escapement, backplate signed Meuron & Compie IPCR .191. with steel hour and quarter racks striking on two bells via three hammers, with further hammer for the alarm
