The cup exterior and saucer underside with yellow grounds, the cup reserved with river landscapes within shaped quatrefoil gilt band cartouches, the handle gilt with husks, the interior with a vignette within an iron-red double concentric circle cartouche below a border of interlocking gilt scrolls, the saucer with boating figures by fortified buildings and a windmill, within a shaped quatrefoil gilt cartouche with Böttger-lustre panels, Sgraffito-hatched purple panels and scrolls, within a similar border, gilt line rims (cup with two restored rim chips, one with small associated area of re-touching to gilding of adjacent cartouche, flaking to rim and ground, further wear, saucer with very slight wear)
