A GEORGE III STERLING SILVER SALVER
Maker's mark John Langlands I and John Robertson I, Newcastle 1788, raised on three scroll feet, with beaded rim, the centre engraved with contemporary coat of arms, the reverse with the inscriptions 'A gift from the Owners of the Ship Traveller to Mrs Dunn 1789' and 'A gift to Jack and Lucy on their silver Wedding day April 17th 1919, from his brother and sisters and some of their children', 30 cm. (12 in.) diameter, 916 gr. (29.4 oz.)
