A STUNNING ARRAY OF LARGE FORMATS FROM BORDEAUX AND BEYOND
The first offering of a major East Coast private collection that has been entrusted to NYWinesChristie's to be sold throughout the fall season. This selection encompasses just a small percentage of one of the largest caches of large formats I have ever seen. Highlights include grands formats from Pétrus, double-magnums of Le Pin 1995, DRC large formats and California Classics in party bottles. Almost all are offered in their original wooden cases.
All of these were purchased by the current owner upon commercial release and have been stored in a professional storage facility on the East Coast.

"Most recently, tasted blind, I noted it as 'trying to mature';a classic Medoc nose which opened up attractively in the glass, but on the palate dry, raw and tannic.
