of two-handled elongated tapering form, on circular bases, the handles of scrolled and foliate form, each painted to a side with a gilt outlined reserve of baskets issuing flowers, including, roses, cowslips, bluebells and others, to the reverse each painted with a seperately titled landscape, the first, Dieppe, a scene showing small boats beneath a cliff, with castle perched to the top, the town visible in the distance, the other titled The falls of Tummil, an upland landscape scene showing two figures fishing in the foreground before the falls, a mountain in the distance, both vases highlighted in gilt, printed and painted marks -- 21in.
