The frosted gilt three quarter plate movement with early stem wind mechanism, reversed fusee, jewelled to the centre with screwed chatons, the bimetallic balance with blued steel flat hairspring with overcoils and English lever escapement under Kullberg's bridge cock, the movement further engraved with Admiralty and Exhibition medallions, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, blued steel hands, outer seconds ring with five second divisions, sweep centre seconds, in (later) silver case with gold hinges and thumb piece, hallmark London 1979
