Rectangular plaque with rounded corners depicting a romantic wooded riverside landscape with a couple of shepherds and their cattle, in black border, within a bevelled gilt-metal mount engraved with scrolls and foliage, set on a rectangular lapis-lazuli paperweight
the micromosaic 2 3/8 x 3 5/8 in. (60 x 92 mm.), the lapis 3 1/8 x 5 5/16 in. (80 x 135 mm.)
