No other Qianlong-marked bowl of this glaze and large size appears to be published, although a smaller Kangxi-marked example (12.2 cm. diam.) with straight sides is illustrated by J. Ayers, Chinese Ceramics in the Baur Collection, Geneva, 1999, vol. 2, p. 73, no. 195; and again in Sekai Toji Zenshu, Japan, 1983, vol. 15, pl. 34. Cf. also another Kangxi-marked pair of bowls with everted mouth rims (12.6 cm. diam.), sold in these Rooms, 29 October 2001, lot 792.
