YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE-CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
Of rounded sides, the interior decorated with delicate enamels and underglaze-blue to depict a single large stylised shou character in a soft iron-red enamel, surrounded by eight radiating shou characters in different colours, all within stylised foliate scrollwork and double-line borders, the exterior with further shou characters formed from archaistic elements, between further foliate scrollwork and a border of C-motifs interspaced with circular dots below the mouth rim
