Each with a moulded bar toprail, spindel splat and padded seat, on turned and spiral-carved legs, joined by turned stretchers, each stamped to the underside 'COWTAN & SONS 309 OXFORD ST LONDON', one inscribed in pencil 'F. Bramacombe 1885', another 'Faulkner 5 17 83', the third initialled and inscribed in blue pencil '114', two chairs with paper label 'FORT WILLIAM NO 62' and '63' respectively '1948' (3)
