It is very rare to find clair-de-lune-glazed porcelain pieces of this archaistic form and design, and no other examples appear to have been published. Compare a clair-de-lune vase in the Palace Museum, Beijing, also of zhi shape but applied with two chilong handles, illustrated in The Complete Collection of Treasures of the Palace Museum: Monochrome Porcelain, no. 89, p. 96.
