KANGXI (1662-1722) AND 19TH CENTURY
The aubergine vase of square section with tapering sides, applied at the shoulders with two lion-mask handles, covered in a glossy violet-blue glaze thinning slightly along the extremities and stopping neatly around the unglazed base, Kangxi, 4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) high; the spill vase modelled as a bamboo branch, covered overall in a finely crackled rich yellow glaze, 19th century, 5 1/8 in. (14.3 cm.) high (2)
