Painted in the manner of C.F. Herold with merchants at various pursuits at quaysides, the cup with a quatrefoil cartouche within a gilt border, with gilt double-scrolled handle, the saucer with a cartouche en suite surrounded by Goldspitzenbordüre and purple and Eisenrot scrolls, the border and inside of the cup with elaborate Goldspitzenbordüre
