The polished and fluted gold case of oval outline, with a circular-cut diamond pushpiece opening to reveal a covered powder compartment, a lipstick holder and a fitted mirror, lifting to reveal an additional compartment and comb holder, suspended by a woven red silk cord and tassel, mounted in 18k gold, 4¾ x 3 x 1 ins.
