With blued octagonal sighted barrel signed in full on the top flat and with an engraved band around the muzzle, plain case-hardened cylinder with angled nipples, scroll engraved case-hardened action with engraved side-hammer and gravitating platinum-filled safety-stop, blued scroll engraved trigger-guard, chequered saw-handled figured walnut butt, case-hardened pommel with scroll engraved hinged butt-trap cover, and nearly all its original finish: in its original fitted oak case lined in tooled pigskin with accessories including correct brass bullet mould, bags of wads and caps, nipple-wrench, spare nipples, and reproduction powder-flask, the lid with illustrated Directions label (lid- and key-hole escutcheons replaced), London proof marks
