etching and aquatint with extensive hand-colouring by the artist, 1952-53, on vellum, the colours fresh, signed in black ink, numbered IX/XIII (there were also three hors commerce impressions on vellum, the edition on Arches was fifty), published by Maeght, Paris, the full sheet, a short diagonal crease at the extreme upper right sheet corner, otherwise generally in very good condition
