The Speculum was a publisher's collection of prints illustrating the architecture and sculpture of Ancient and Renaissance Rome, produced to appeal to the wealthy pilgrim or tourist who wanted to take home a pictorial record of their visit. Each set is a unique compilation and for this reason this set is sold not subject to return.
