A RARE BRONZE WINE VESSEL, HU
LATE SPRING AND AUTUMN PERIOD, 5TH CENTURY BC

Of compressed spherical shape cast with four bi-roundels in high relief enclosing stylised leaves and scrolling elements terminating with impressed knobs, these super-imposed on the upper half of the wide border on the shoulder filled with four tight horizontal registers of angular dragons, all framed within rope-twist bands, and below a further similar band suspending triangular lappets below the vertical neck, the patina of silvery-grey tone
