On a rectangular plinth with four foliate pad feet, the cartouche formed backplate chased and repoussé with arches and flowers on a matted ground, surmounted by a crown, the backplate centering the Tablets of the Law with the Lions of Judah, the plinth with eight lion-form oil fonts, with gilt lions couchant on pedestal supports, the backplate fitted with two servant lamps with lion-head spouts, marked on reverse
