Mark of Frans M. Simons, The Hague, 1792, also struck with later Dutch duty mark of 1814-1893
Comprising: a teapot; a teacaddy and a milk jug, the first two of navette form, the vase-shaped milk jug on a circular foot, plain neck, helmet-shaped spout, high shaped handle, each with partly fluted body, beaded rims, the cover and spout with an upper rim of engraved scrolling foliage, teapot with wooden scroll handle and shaped finial, marked on base and inner rim cover teapot
