An unusual 20th-Century barometer/hygrometer,
stamped B.G.M. 1765968, made in Germany -- 20cm. (7 7/8in.) high

The mechanism is housed in a perspex sphere. There is a large scale for conditions Stormy, RAIN, Change, FAIR, Very Dry, also stamped Made in Western Germany. There are two further scales for temperature in Fahrenheit and relative humidity. There are five brass rods protruding from the sphere and a mounting rod with knurled turning handle. The stepped circular brass base is possibly unconnected, and is stamped M.H.
