Mick Jagger attended Dartford Grammar School from 1956 to 1961. In the 1959 edition of the yearbook he is listed as a member of the Senior Team for the Inter-Schools Cross-Country competition [p.38], and in the 1960 edition, he is listed as the captain of the basketball team [p.24], however the results were not encouraging....efforts...were poorly rewarded by one win.....Perhaps if a few more people became interested in the game....better results might be forthcoming.
After leaving school with seven O'Levels and two A'Levels, Jagger attended the London School of Economics before leaving to concentrate on his career with the Stones in early 1962.
