Painted to the interior with farmers and a herd in a landscape, the exterior with flower-sprays, the handles extensively restored; a blue and white plate painted with a bird and insects among flowers; a Dutch Delft dish painted with flowers and bamboo above terracing below a border of pendant swags and a diaper-pattern band; and two French faience plates made for the English market, each inscribed with a proverb (some chipping throughout)
