**AN ART NOUVEAU ENAMEL, AMETHYST AND IVORY PENDANT NECKLACE, BY RENE LALIQUE
The pendant, centering upon a carved ivory plaque, depicting a rearing horse and rider and fallen maiden in high relief, within a textured and undulating gold tree surround, extending purple enameled leaves, to the two fancy-cut amethysts, and faceted amethyst drop, suspended from a purple enamel bar link neckchain, mounted in gold, (with damage, amethyst drop of later addition), circa 1905, 21½ ins.
