With turned ivory urn finial to swan neck pediment, hygrometer above bayonet-fixed mercury thermometer, central white enamel Roman clock dial (bezel lacking), blued steel moon hands, pendulum start lever above XII, the four pillar movement with tall rectangular plates, single chain fusee with anchor escapement, pendulum holdfast to the back plate, 12in. diameter silvered and engraved main dial, the spirit level below signed V. SILVANI & CO./BRIGHTON -- 51¾in. (132cm.) high
