The 13in. wide dial with eagle and urn spandrels to a Roman and Arabic chapter ring with fleur-de-lys half hour markers, matted centre with subsidiary seconds ring and square date aperture, with subsidiary rings above for Lock/Unlock and Strike/Not Strike, the arch with recessed plaque signed Hinton Brown/SOUTHWARK within an arch for tune selection (A Rigadoon, A. Minnuett, A Trumpett Tune), the six pillar and three train movement formerly with anchor escapement, with 2¾in. music barrel (various losses, distressed)
