The case flanked by a standing classically draped female figure with upraised arm, the plinth inset with a bronze relief plaque portraying classical figures, with lanceolate leaf cast gallery above the mottled marble base below, raised on winged paw feet, with bronze entwined serpent bezel to the ormolu dial with Roman chapter ring, regulation at XII, the engine-turned centre signed on a reserve THOMIRE & CIE.MOINET AINÉ H.R, blued steel moon hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension and countwheel strike on bell (broken), the back plate punch-stamped MOINET A PARIS -- 26½in.
