The gorge case with Sèvres style oval porcelain panel to the top, depicting an amorino and further conforming panels to the sides and rear door (with restorations), the dial with Roman chapter ring painted with flowers to the centre, trefoil hands, alarm dial below, the twin barrel movement with platform lever escapement and strike/repeat/alarm on bell to the back plate numbered 374 -- 5½in. (14cm.) high to hilt of handle
