Ming dynasty, 16th-17th century
Carved as a thin flat lotus leaf with incised veins on the interior, the veins on the inward-turned edges carved in low relief as they continue from the veins on the underside, which is also carved in low relief with the coiled stem, the translucent, pale greyish-white stone extensively altered to an opaque buff color
