with a twin plank cleated top and flattened arms on chamfered supports, the solid seat on chamfered legs joined by stretchers -- 31in. (78cm.) high, 46in. (117cm.) high when open, 77in. (196cm.) wide, 26in. (66cm.) deep

Sir Michael Nairn Bt, of Earlshall, near St. Andrews and by descent. This table was used in the long gallery. Earlshall is one of the most famous of Sir Robert Lorimer's Scottish castle restorations.
