A WORCESTER TURQUOISE-GROUND FLUTED PART TEA AND COFFEE-SERVICE
Circa 1775, blue pseudo Chinese fret marks, probably decorated in the London workshop of James Giles
In the Sèvres style, with flower finials, entwined branch handles and gilt line rims, comprising:
A teapot, cover, and stand, the pot 6 1/8in. (15.6cm.) high; the stand 7 1/8in. (18.1cm.) diam.
A cream-jug and cover, 5¼in. (13.4cm.) high
A sugar-bowl and cover, 4½in. (11.4cm.) high
A waste-bowl, 6 7/16in. (16.4cm.) diam.
A spoon-tray, 5 7/8in. (15cm.) long
Two fluted dishes, 9¾in. (23.4cm.) diam.
Twelve teacups
Twelve coffee-cups
Eighteen saucers, 5 3/8in. (13.7cm.) diam. (50)
