Both sides engraved with elaborate whaling scenes with large ships, numerous whale boats and whales, with red coloring for blood on the ships and on the water; together with a 5½ inch tooth depicting a young woman (not illustrated), and a 5 inch tooth depicting a whale, a whaling ship, and an American eagle with banner and shield
