A BELLE EPOQUE ENAMEL, DIAMOND AND AGATE FIVE MINUTE REPEATING DESK CLOCK, BY CARTIER
Of gilt-finished lever movement, with platform lever escapement, the pink guilloché enamel rectangular case trimmed with white enamel, centering upon a circular white enameled dial with rose-cut diamond hands and black chapters spelling "MY BEST WISHES", within a white enameled bead frame, the top enhanced by a rose-cut diamond circular monogram and cabochon moonstone striker, the sides accented by two rose-cut diamonds, surmounting a stepped agate plynth, (with winding key), circa 1910, 1 7/8 x 1½ x 3 ins., in a Cartier brown leather fitted case
