Pencil and watercolour on laid paper, laid down on Japan paper. In the dome in the left-hand corner of the sheet, the pencil is slightly smudged. The watercolour is fresh and strong throughout.
Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the present work appears to be in generally good condition.
Catalogue illustration: the colours in the catalogue are too pale. The original is more vibrant in colour than the illustration suggests.
