A Berlin part tea and coffee-service
Circa 1768, underglaze blue sceptre marks, various Pressnummern
Painted with bouquets of large luxuriant pink roses beneath gilt trellis-pattern borders reserved with turquoise scroll panels and garlands of pink roses, gilt line rims, comprising:
A bullet-shaped teapot and cover, with scroll spout and wishbone handle, the flat cover with pink flower finial
A hot-milk jug and cover, with scroll-moulded spout and wishbone handle, the flat cover with pink flower finial
A circular sugar-bowl and cover, the domed cover with pink flower finial (chip to finial)
A slop-bowl (restored chip to rim)
Two coffee-cups
Four teacups (one with chip and one with minute chip to footrim)
Six saucers
(some rubbing to gilt rims throughout)
