of rectangular shape, carved in relief to the cover with maidens and children in garden scenes crossing a bridge before pavilions, incised signature in corner -- 6½in. (16.5cm.) wide; a Japanese lacquer box and cover of rectangular shape with gilt floral decoration to the cover, and a faceted circular shaped lacquer box and cover with gilt floral decoration -- 6¾in. (17.1cm.) max. wide, (rubbing and minor chips).
