The chair illustrated and with the more outswept arms is almost certainly by George Wilson (Fl. 1841-91), chair manufacturer of Grantham, Lincolshire; the underarm turnings are typical of this maker, as recorded in Dr B Cotton, The English Regional Chair, Woodbridge, 1990, pp.125-126.
