The inlay 19th century
Crossbanded overall in rosewood, the top inlaid with a band of arcaded anthemia within arches, the main field hung with ribbon tied acanthus husks and paterae centred by a ram's head, the rear edge with arcaded rosettes on a lacework ground between bands enclosing a half patera above an athemion inlaid frieze on square tapered legs inlaid with ribbon tied husks and headed by urns on spade feet
