A Japanese ivory netsuke of a monkey
19th Century
carved seated on top of a large peach with trailing leafy stalk -- 2in. (5.1cm.) high; an ivory netsuke of a group of gourds -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) high; and an ivory ashtray netsuke in the form of a man kneeling on a wicker basket, a small rat clambers over his back -- 1½in. (3.9cm.) high, (age cracks, minor nibbles).
