II repaired with very slight loss of text, slightly browned throughout), late 19th-century calf-backed cloth (spines a trifle worn, spine of vol. II loose). Provenance: Kenneth K. Mackenzie (1934 bequest to:) The Horticultural Society of New York (bookplate).

'Robin witnessed at New Orleans and at Nachitoches, the transfer of Louisiana to the United States; he gives a most ample description of Louisiana's Western interior and of Spanish Texas' (Howes).
