A wood mushroom netsuke
19th Century
carved in the form of a group of mushrooms issuing from one stalk, incised signature to base -- 1¼in. (3.1cm.) high; a wood netsuke of a chestnut with trailing stalk -- 1 5/8in. (4.1cm.) wide; a wood kagamibuta in the form of a wickerwork basket filled with flowers, incised signature to base -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) wide; and a wood netsuke of a flower pod filled with nuts, the underside with trailing leafy stalk -- 1½in. (3.8cm.) wide, (minor wear).
