A celadon jade archaistic ewer
18/19th Century
in the form of an archaistic bronze guang, carved with a slightly flaring lipped rim, below it a linzhi head suspending a loose-ring, with a stylised dragon handle, the body decorated in relief with taotie masks between stiff leaves and key-fret bands to the rims, the cover in the form of a mythical animal with two tentacles, also with stylised dragon handle, on a carved and pierced wood stand -- 8in. (20.3cm.) high, (minor wear).
