The anglaise style case embellished with two rows of split pearls to each angle, with further pearls to the base, top and handle, the sides and rear mounted with deep amber intaglio glass panels, depicting a man holding a torch, a lady with Cupid and an amorino amidst rushes respectively, the conforming dial mask with two seated figures below a glazed white enamel Arabic chapter disc with pierced gilt hands, the three-quarter plate movement with silvered backplate revealing a vertically positioned cylinder escapement, numbered 892
