A Meissen trompe l'oeil pierced plate
applied with a lemon, two pears, a strawberry and cherry among garden flowers and buds, the 'Spanish' border pierced with entwined zig zag pattern bands and meandering blue ribbons below a waved rim, indistinct blue crossed swords mark, Pressnummern 34 and 21, early 19th century (extensive damages, losses, restoration and replacement to applied decoration and a section of the rim) -- 24cm. diam.
