the oviform bowl painted in colours with three winged putti, probably emblematic of the liberal arts, among cloud scrolls on a richky gilt ground and interiorm the stem formed as three figures, of a potter, wearing an apron, a girl by a spinning wheel attended by a kneeling boy holding a ewer and basin, above a stepped circular foot, blue sceptre and impressed marks -- 5 1/8in.
