probably representing the celebrated French tightrope walker, and conqueror of the Niagara Falls, riding an Ordinary (or Penny-Farthing) Cycle, the painted lead figure dressed in blue tunic with gold-coloured brais and tie, yellow britches and blue pumps, on painted lead machine, connected to central weighted stand of trefoil form by adjustable rod, 1880s (overall G, some damage and old repair to top of frame near yoke and to rear of figure, one spoke end detached) --size?
