An Edwardian massive tapering oval jardinière on a rising oval base and with two openwork elaborate scrolling foliate handles and a conforming applied rim, the body decorated with cherubs' masks, flowers, foliage, C-scrolls and rocaille ornamentation, each side with a rococo scroll cartouche, one engraved with an armorial with two crests above and a motto beneath, the other with later presentation inscription, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co.
