A pearlware puzzle-jug with mask-moulded spout printed and painted to one side with Masonic emblems, to the other side with a sentimental verse, all within garlands of flowers beneath a yellow-ground band with blue borders, the spout moulded as a satyr's head above the inscription W"WOOD 1821, the handle and base pierced to allow the retention and expulsion of water (restored to handle and spout, hairlines and enamel flakes) circa 1821 -- 7in. high
