A pair of George Jones lilac-ground majolica jardinières, moulded in relief with horse chestnut leaves issuing sprays of blossoms, enriched in green, brown, white and yellow glazes, supported by branch moulded tripod feet, with turquoise interiors below shaped rims (some hairlines, one with flaking to interior glaze), blue pad mark for one, indistinct pattern number, circa 1865 -- 9in. high
